NTSB Launches Investigation Into Experimental Aircraft Crash at Langley Air Force Base

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has initiated an investigation following the crash of an experimental aircraft at Langley Air Force Base near Hampton, Virginia, on Thursday afternoon. Officials from Langley Air Force Base confirmed to Fox News Digital that first responders were on the scene by 2:10 p.m.

The aircraft involved has been identified as an MX Aircraft MXS, though it remains unclear how many individuals were onboard. As of now, no injuries or fatalities have been reported.

This incident comes on the heels of another aviation safety concern, as a DELTA plane and an Air Force jet narrowly avoided a collision during a flyover at Arlington National Cemetery earlier this week, raising questions about airspace management.

The NTSB continues to gather information, and further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
